Would you like to list your EU products with us?

  1. Please send us your product list, ideally including product descriptions and prices (our cost price and RRP).

  1. Include the images either as links in the product list or, correctly named, via a download link (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer) to info@makerdirect.eu.

  2. Please also send us a video/photos and the address of the production facility in the EU

  3. Please also tell us your unique selling points – that is, the aspects that make your products different from or better than those of your competitors.

For customers

  • Buy products that are genuinely manufactured in the EU

  • Avoid products that are advertised as European but actually come from the Far East

  • Avoid deliveries by sea freight or, worse still, by air from the Far East

  • Shorter transport routes within the EU mean a better carbon footprint

  • Support local brands and manufacturing

  • Preserve jobs in the EU

Let’s be honest: are products from the Far East or other foreign countries really the ones we want?

Aren’t products from the EU, manufactured to EU standards, the ones we can truly trust and which have the quality and characteristics we desire?

Aren’t products manufactured for people in the Far East or other foreign countries designed differently from what we want here in the EU?

Even car manufacturers, for example, are these days pursuing a strategy whereby they produce cars for the Far East or other countries that are tailored to what people there want (such as cars completely fitted out with screens), whilst here on the EU market cars are once again being produced with physical buttons instead of screens because that is what we prefer here?

So, by shopping at MakerDirect, are we once again supporting EU manufacturing and EU jobs – and, in concrete terms, our own families and children – even if it is a bit more expensive?

The more we shop within the EU, the higher EU production volumes will be, and the better prices can be set.
